The Eggs have arrived!!!!!!

Thanks to Jessica Decker of Double Decker Rabbitry, our eggs have arrived!

12 chicken Eggs!

Our Incubator is ready for the eggs - we installed our automatic egg turner so we don't have to manually turn the eggs four times a day!

Adding water to our incubator to keep our humidity level up!

Placing the thermometer on top of the eggs to make sure that it stays at 99.5 degrees in our incubator.

Ready to go!

The stages of Chick Development, this well help us to see what our chicks look like each day that they are in the incubator.

  1. We are so excited to be able to interact with your class on this blog! We have lots of name suggestions for your baby chicks. We will be writing to you to share those names! Keep a look out for our letter arriving in the mail! We are wondering where you got the incubator? It is really cool what your class is doing!

We bought our incubator at the Tractor Supply store in Canandaigua! We will be getting more supplies from them when our chickens arrive, so stay tuned! Make sure to check back tomorrow to find out why our eggs are different colors :-)
